Treatment for Retrograde Ejaculation
Retrograde ejaculation generally doesn't call for a treatment unless the fertility is getting hampered. If there is any issue with fertility, then under such cases, the underlying cause determines the mode of treatment. Drugs work fine if the retrograde ejaculation is caused by nerve damage.
However, drugs would be of no help if the retrograde ejaculation is caused due to surgery resulting in permanent physical alteration of your anatomy.
Drugs to cure retrograde ejaculation are basically used to treat other underlying causes. They are:
-
Imipramine (Tofranil)
-
Chlorpheniramine and brompheniramine
-
Ephedrine, pseudoephedrine and phenylephrine
These medications aid in keeping the bladder neck muscle closed when ejaculation takes place. You will have to speak to your medical help to figure out what treatment would work better if you are suffering from retrograde ejaculation and your fertility is getting affected due to it.
