Baby's Growth and Development

Changes You Experience
You will gain a little more weight this week. Your baby is on a fast growing spree and you are experiencing it too. By this time, the uterus starts making its ways up in the abdomen. Its presence can be felt below the navel. The uterus is growing at a rate of about a centimeter per week now. The increase blood circulation may give the mother reddish marks on hands, upper chest, face and neck.
Dry and patchy skin is a common problem among pregnant women at this stage .Keeping yourself hydrated and using skin care products seem to be the most feasible option. You experience sudden pains and discomforts during the 19th week. The leg cramps can make you feel exhausted all the time. You may also experience occasional fatigue and high blood pressure.
An Important Tip
Here we bring you some good ways for feeling baby kicks. Sometimes you mistake the baby kicks for the gas bubbles. In starting when the kicking and rolling is tiny you might misunderstand them for gas bubbles and get upset worrying why your baby hasn’t started kicking yet. Between the 18th and 22nd week the tiniest movement or the smallest gas bubble is not a gas bubble at all, in fact it is your baby moving.
