Pregnancy is a lot more interactive process which requires many mothers to organize their chores accordingly so that in the long run they are able to sustain their pregnancies. Exercises are never to be missed during this crucial time. It keeps you fit and healthy.
However, certain complications may call for avoiding the exercises. The following conditions may make the mother to avoid exercising and they include:
High blood pressure: High blood pressure during pregnancy can increase due to exercise done during pregnancy. Blood flow in the body is vital for coordinated transport and supply of the needed oxygen in the body and so its circulation must be cared for by maintaining the blood flow as much as possible.
If water breaks early: If there stands any chance of your water breaking up early then the doctor may advise you to stay away from exercise.
Premature deliveries: If there have been cases of premature deliveries in the past, then such women are advised to avoid exercises.
Incompetent cervix: Those mothers with incompetent cervix may be asked to avoid exercise during pregnancy because they may lower the responsiveness of the cervix to the normal demands of contractions desired for the delivery process.
Bleeding: Some women face persistent vaginal bleeding during third or second trimesters. In order to lower such bleeding levels, tissues must not be disturbed by any form of exercises as they will become loose and hence make the bleeding to increase.
If the baby gains less weight: If the baby is gaining little weight than expected, the doctors will advise such mothers to avoid exercises so that all the nutrients go on to be directed into baby's growth and development.
Low lying placenta: Mothers with low-lying placenta will be restricted from participating in any form of exercises. Such condition may become worse if it is not checked by the doctors and may result in major complications during delivery. Careful examination must be done by the doctors in order to ascertain the baby’s growth under such condition.
Heart diseases: Several diseases of the heart may also lock out exercises for pregnant mums because the blood circulatory system is working for both mother and the baby and so adding up another strenuous activity such as exercises will overwork the system and thus may lead to serious complications to both mother and the baby.

Aches in different body parts
Mothers may feel some pain in different parts of their bodies especially where there are many muscles and so due to this they must avoid any extra exercises which can strain those muscles.
Dizziness
Mothers must be active in the day just like any other person so that the general body functioning is not affected at all and so if exercises bring in dizziness then this must be avoided.
Loss of breath
Also mothers may feel that they are losing breath at some times of the day, so they must avoid exercises as this tend to require more oxygen.
Developing contractions
Developing contractions at earlier times of the pregnancy will also require the pregnant mothers to avoid any form of exercise so that the tissues and muscles are left to relax adequately so that comfort is attained.
