Madonna is one of the most popular pop stars not just in United States but in the whole world. Madonna has a different perspective on the whole concept of motherhood. She wanted to be a good mother because she lost her mom when she was pretty young, to breast cancer and therefore was devoid of any motherly love and care for the maximum part of her life. This is where the decision to adopt a kid and give him or her all the love in the world came to her mind.

Madonna adopted two kids both from the Southeast Asian country Malawi. As an American carefree pop star she actually set a great example in front of her fan following that adopting and giving love and care to a non biological child who is unfortunate enough for being devoid of the love of her own parents is such a great deed. She took the job of being a mother rather seriously and never even once gave the paparazzi a spot to raise questions on her being a responsible and dutiful mother. Madonna’s two kids are David Banda and Mercy James. She adopted David in 2005 while Mercy was adopted in 2006. All in all Madonna did great as a mother.
