• Birth Mother’s expenses: When you adopt child through agency or independently, you have to bear some of the birthmother’s expenses & pay for it.
• Attorney’s Fees: The attorney during an independent adoption has to be paid to carry out his work properly & efficiently.
• Agency fees: The adoption Agencies also charge some fees for carrying out the adoption process.

 How does it work??
The adopting parents have to decide the way of adoption as many ways are available today which were not as available in the past. They can either choose either of the following ways of adoption:

• Adoption through a domestic agency: Adoption carried through an intermediate agency between birthparents & adopting parents.
• Adopting independently: Adoption carried through direct negotiation between birthparents & adopting parents with an attorney as a
  mediator.
• Adopting internationally: Adopting child from another country or origin.
• Adopting a waiting child: Adopting child with behavioral or mental disabilities.
