What is an eye infection?
Eyes are one of the most important sensory organs of the body. An infection in the eyes causes vision deficiency. All day long eyes are the only organs that have continuous movements and this may strain the eyes at times. At times eyes turn to red color also when they are infected by a foreign particle and this leads to itching. There are many types of vision defects and some are related to old age as well, where things may start appearing blurred. But proper eye care will help in better visibility and will cause less damage to the eyes.

Home remedies for proper eye care

Include carrots and tomatoes to your daily diet. These vegetables will improve your vision.

Avoid smoking. Smoking will cause damage your eyes as toxic material in the smoke will harm your eyes.

Intake of Vitamin A will be very helpful. Vitamin A is very essential in maintaining good and healthy eyes. Make sure you consume foods that are rich in Vitamin A.

Eat a few walnuts daily. This is the easiest way to take care of the eyes.

An effective eye care is to massage your toes and soles everyday with mustard (sarson) oil.

For curing myopia (short sightedness) store water in a green bottle and keep it under the sun for a day. Now use this water to wash your eyes daily.

Vitamin C is known for maintaining immunity and fighting the infections as well. For better eye care make sure you include Vitamin C in your daily diet.
