^nd October is Gandhi Jayanti. It is celebrated in the memory of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the ‘Father of our Nation’ as he is most fondly called, who was responsible for spearheading our Freedom movement and guiding people into the light of independence. His spiritual, religious and political viewpoints had influenced thousands of people.

 

But how often do ‘we’ sit back and think about the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi? We have become so mechanical in our lives, that we have given more value to the digits on the currency note than the person on it and what he stood for. One of the most commercialized freedom fighters was in fact a very simple and honest man.

 

So today, don’t just scroll down or click some other article. Honestly, take a few minutes to think about these amazing lessons. Believe me you will find solutions to all your problems if you preach them in your life.  One thing is for sure Mahatma Gandhi was way ahead of his time.
