Often we hear parents blaming the present day lifestyle and culture that have made kids learn and do things not appropriate for their age. If a child demands for an expensive toy, a gadget, or for that matter the latest mobile phone, parents will apparently accuse the school, peers and fellow kids.
If they come across kids misbehaving in public or using foul language, they question the parenting style of other parents. However, no one dares to look within their own selves.
Your Kids Learn What They See at Home
You can never deny the fact that for your kids, you are the role models. Far ahead of going to school, or making a friend circle of their own; it's you who happen to be their guide, philosopher, teacher and friend. Kids believe that their parents can never be wrong and they follow your ways until they reach the stage where they can think independently. They imitate all your actions and are more likely to follow what they see rather than what they hear. So even if you teach them all good manners but fail to implement the same in your behavior, your kids will also never bring them in practice.
Watch Your Actions & Set the Right Example
No parent would want his child to turn into an unethical person. So, watch out your actions and set the right example before your kids. Behave the way you want your kids to behave and act. Only then can you build ethical and moral values in your child.
