The most powerful instinct of every woman is motherhood. This soul-stirring image is the best example of humanity.
A Jewish nurse named UlaOstrowski-Zak breastfed a Palestinian boy, whose mother was severely injured and lost father in a car crash in EinKerem, in central Israel. Her picture of breastfeeding this little boy has gone viral and won the hearts of millions.
She decided to breastfeed him herself after trying hard for around seven hours to milk from the bottle to nine-months-old Yaman Abu Ramila.
“His aunts were surprised that a Jew agreed to breastfeed him, but I told them that any mother would do it,” she said. “I fed him five times. His aunts embraced me and thanked me. They were really surprised.”
After this accident this little boy was taken to Hadassah EinKerem Hospital. When Ostrowski-Zak posted online about requirement new moms, thousands of women came up to feed this boy.
“Within two hours I received more than a thousand likes and responses from women who volunteered to help, women who were willing to travel even from Haifa (in northern Israel) to breastfeed him. In between, I continued to try to bottle feed the baby but without success,” she said.
Yaman would be discharged from the hospital. His mother is still in critical condition. At the moment his aunts have taken the responsibility to take care of him. An anonymous aunt has proposed to make the arrangements for the boy to be breastfed.
