Every year on 26th and 15th, there is a sense of overwhelming pride in our hearts. We send countless forwards to our friends, share images on facebook wishing the same and whatsapp keeps pinging with a never ending list of patriotic quotes and wishes from all your contacts. But then what? Let me ask you this honestly, rather this is something you should ask yourself...do you recall your martrys for their sacrifices on any other day...do you wave that tricolor flag with pride and act like a proud Indian citizen?
This day should be like any other day. A day of pride to be part of one of the most oldest civilizations, largest democracies and historically richest country in the world.
"Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high....
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake."
- Rabindranath Tagore
