Diwali is the festival of lights, We all love to celebrate it with lots of Fun. We work very hard before Diwali to make it more enjoyable in terms of Cleanliness, Decoration, Clothing and of-course Variety of Food.
I do remember my childhood when my mother use to prepare my favorite Sweets which I simply can not resist. Today I am sharing my mom's spacial recipes with you all so, just surprise your Kids and Family this Diwali with your par excellence cooking skills:
Let's start with my all time favorite:
Chocolate Balls:
Chocolate a name is enough to attract any one to eat it but, you may feel bored to cook it with old method which takes your hours so, here I am with quick method to cook it:
All You Need: (10 to 12 chocolate balls)

Chopped Cashew, Pista, Almonds

Condensed Milk : 250ml Condensed Milk

Milk Powder 1 cup
-
Ghee : 1 tb spn
-
Cocoa Powder : 1 tb spn
-
Chocolate powder : 2 tb spn
-
Cardamom Powder : 1/2 tsp
How to Prepare it:

Take a nonstick pan, add 250ml Condensed Milk
-
Add Cocoa Powder 1 tb spn
-
Cardamom Powder1/2 tsp
-
Chocolate powder 2 tb spn

Milk Powder 1 cup
-
Chopped Nuts
-
Cook on medium flam for 5 mins keep mixing it, after 5 minutes add 1 tb spn Ghee in it and again start mixing it for 2 to 3 minutes.

Now take it in one glass bowl let it get cold. Once, it is cold you can give it different shape with greased hands and garnish with chopped nuts:

Khajur laddu:
All You Need:

Chopped Seedless dates: 1 Cup

Sesame seeds: 1 cup

Coconut powder: 1/2 cup
How to Prepare it:

Take seedless dates make sure the dates are kept in room temperature for 7 to 8 hours, now nicely chop dates.

If dates are not sweet enough you can add more quantity of dates.

Take nonstick pan, roast white sesame seeds in it till it gets golden brown color at medium flame now take it in bowl let it get cold.

In the same pan take dry coconut powder and stir for few seconds at medium flame.

Now your roasted sesame seeds are cold, so now you can semi grind seeds.

Take one big bowl add chopped dates, roasted and semi grinned sesame seeds and 3 tb spn coconut powder. Mix it well with your hands and give them shape of laddus with greased hands and pour them in coconut powder.
Serve our very own traditional sweet with healthy ingredients to your loved once:
Kaju katli
All You Need:

1 cup cashew
-
½ cup sugar
-
75ml water
-
1 tbsp ghee
-
15ml rose water
-
Butter paper
How to Prepare it:
-
Take grinder and crush cashew nicely, make sure the oil does not come out from cashew while grinding.

Take plate and grease plate with ghee.

Take nonstick pan add water and sugar, stir it nicely once, sugar dissolved in water, add cashew powder and keep stirring the mixture at low flame,till the cashew mixture start thickening.

Cook it for approx 10 minutes.

Take all the mixture in bowl add rose water and ghee in the mixture.
-
Once the mixture is cold enough to handle with hands, mix and bind it with hands.

Now spread the mixture on greased plate.

Place butter paper on the top and roll it gently with rolling pin.

Once roll is ready with the thickness you want remove the butter paper from it and let it get cold.

Once it is cold you can cut the spread with knife and remove it gently from the bottom of greased plate.
You are ready to give another surprise to your near and dear once!!!
