Ingredients needed to make the dough

1 big cup of wheat flour

2 tablespoon oil

Salt to taste

Water as per required
Ingredients needed for stuffing

1 boiled potato
-
1 cup boiled mixed vegetables (beans, carrot, cauliflower, cabbage, green peas)

1 finely chopped onions
-
3-4 green chilies finely chopped
-
½ teaspoon grated ginger
-
1 teaspoon chili powder
-
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
-
½ teaspoon cumin powder
-
½ teaspoon garam masala
-
½ cup coriander leaves
-
Salt to taste
Method to make the dough
1. Mix oil and salt to the wheat flour, add water and knead the dough.
2. Cover the dough for few mins so that it doesn’t dry up.
Method to make the stuffing
1. In a bowl mash the boiled potato add onions and all the boiled mixed vegetables in it.
2. Now add green chilies, ginger, chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt and coriander leaves to the above vegetables.
3. Mix well to prepare the stuffing.
Method to make the paratha
1. Make a ball from the kneaded dough and roll it on a rolling board with a rolling pin to make a round shape (make sure it is neither to thin nor thick).
2. Put the stuffing in the center and seal it from all the sides, again roll it to make a chapatti (to enjoy the taste more roll it into a thicker chapatti).
3. Put in on a slightly pre heated pan, add oil around the paratha and cook on low flame. Make sure you press from all sides.
4. To add more taste to your parathas you can also use ghee or butter instead of oil.
5. Serve hot with a bowl of curd and pickle.
