Sometimes there comes a time when you are just fed up with the boring recipe’s and want to pamper yourself without going out. The simple poha recipe is just for you.
Ingredients:

Flaked rice 2 cups

Some grated potato

2 grated carrots

A tbsp of cooked Bengal gram

Some chopped chilies, chopped spinach

A pinch of heeng or asafetida
-
¼ tsp of mustard seeds

Some salt to taste

Curry leaves, coriander leaves, lime juice, and oil to cook
Method:
1. Soak the flaked rice in a strainer for a min under running water.
2. Shake the grains and then peel the carrot, potato and then grate the same.
3. To the pan add oil and when it is hot enough, season it with heeng, mustard seeds and curry leaves and add the grated carrots and potato, Bengal gram and finally chilies.
4. Add the flaked rice to this mix and mix well with a light hand so as not to break the rice. Add some salt to the mix.
Serve it in a dish and garnish with coriander leaves and lime juice.
