Want to have some experiment in the kitchen or want to surprise your mom with your love?? Here’s a simple and an elegant “Veg biriyani” recipe that you can try on.
Ingredients:

Basmati rice 2 cups

Some mixed Vegetables (potatoes, carrot, French beans, cauliflower)-1 cup

Green peas- 150 gm

3-4 onion sliced

Green chilies sliced
-
Salt to taste

Red chili powder- 1 tsp
-
Cinnamon-2tsp
-
Caraway seeds-2tsp
-
Cloves 2-4
-
Black pepper freshly grind-1/2 tsp

Chopped tomatoes 4
-
Curd ½ cup
-
Vegetable oil 4tsp
-
Mustard seeds ½ tsp
-
4-5 tbsp dry fruits
Method:
1. First wash the rice thoroughly and the cook it in 3-3/4 cups of water. Add salt to taste and a bit of veg. Oil.
2. Wash and cut all the veggies and fry each of them separately in a pan with the veg oil.
3. Take 1 tsp of veg oil in a pan and to it add mustard seeds, green chilies, cinnamon, caraway seeds, cloves and. Pepper stir for half min then add onion and sauté them till they get pink. Add salt and chili powder. Add the tomatoes and fry them properly.
4. Take the curd and make it fine in a blender then add this to the mixture above cook for 10 sec. then add the rice to the mixture stir with the right hand. Cook for 3 min.
Serve hot; garnished with dry fruits and coriander leaves.
