Parents all over the world feel that teaching their kids to manage time on their own is not done easily. To be true, it is not an easy task. On the other side it is not a difficult one as well. You should always remember that time management is a quality that can be taught.
As your child grows up, you need to find out the activities where your child is taking up a lot of time. Accordingly make an effort to reduce the time taken. Start by giving small responsibilities. This can also be done by setting up charts and timeline.
Two activities where children generally waste a lot of time are while cleaning themselves in the bathroom and while completing their homework. Use charts in the bathroom containing pictures and words that are essential for hygiene. Allot a specific time for them. Similarly, prepare timelines across a week, to plan out your child’s homework. Make your child agree to complete it and then keep a watch so that your child abides to it. You can do the same for child’s television hours. You need to be strict and a little lenient at the same time, after all they are children.
